When your attorney prepares your bankruptcy petition, she will have to complete Schedule I. Schedule I is where your current income is listed, and includes income from all sources, including employment, spousal support, social security, and others. It also includes the deductions that are taken for such things as payroll taxes, union dues, insurance, and more. It is essential that you verify the information on Schedule I is accurate. If not, it may need to be amended, or you could find a creditor or trustee objecting to your bankruptcy case.
If you have any questions about how to fill out Schedule I, you should consult with a Colorado bankruptcy attorney.
