When your bankruptcy attorney prepares your bankruptcy petition, she will have to complete Schedule E – Creditors Holding Unsecured Priority Claims (also known as Official Form 6E). Schedule E requires you to list all of your creditors who are holding unsecured priority claims. Examples of unsecured priority claims are domestic support obligations; taxes; extensions of credit in an involuntary bankruptcy case; contributions to employee benefit plans; and wages, salaries, and commissions owed to employees.
You must list the creditor’s name and address; whether there is a codebtor; whether the debt is yours, your spouse’s, or a joint debt (if you are filing a joint petition); date the claim was incurred; whether the debt is contingent, liquidated, or disputed; the amount of the claim; the amount entitled to priority; and the amount not entitled to priority, if any.
If you have any questions about how to fill out Schedule E and whether you have any creditors who are holding unsecured priority claims, you should consult with a Colorado bankruptcy attorney.
