When your bankruptcy attorney prepares your bankruptcy petition, she will have to complete Schedule H – Codebtors (also known as Official Form 6H). Schedule H requires you to list any person or entity (such as a business you own) that is also liable for any debts that you list in your petition. You must include all guarantor and co-signers. If you live in a community property state, you must pay particular attention to the instructions on the form and list your spouse or former spouse for any debts that were incurred in the eight years preceding your filing.
You must list the name and mailing address of the codebtor and the name and mailing address of the creditor.
If you have any questions about how to fill out Schedule H, you should consult with a Colorado bankruptcy attorney.
