Each month volunteer attorneys from the Denver Bar Association conduct a free clinic for people who are considering bankruptcy. They are held in downtown Denver at the U.S. Custom House Building, where the bankruptcy court is.
These clinics are presented by trustees and consumer bankruptcy attorneys, and address issues such as credit implications, what to expect at a meeting of creditors, the role of the trustee, the duties of the debtor, reaffirmation, discharge and dischargeability, adversary proceedings, and other crucial information.
However, no one at these clinics will help you fill out any bankruptcy paperwork.
