Fees

We don’t quote our fees over the phone or email. In fact, we don’t quote a fee until we have had the chance to sit down with you for a free, confidential bankruptcy consultation and understand the full extent of your financial condition.

We work on flat fee basis. Once we set our fee, that’s it.  Our fee includes complete representation throughout the bankruptcy process, including preparing the bankruptcy petition, appearing at your meeting of creditors, responding to any inquiries by your creditors, and resolving any objections to your bankruptcy discharge.  Our representation doesn’t end until your bankruptcy case is dismissed.

We know that you’ve been surfing the Internet for bankruptcy attorneys and have seen advertisements from lawyers offering to file your bankruptcy for an incredibly low fee. Maybe you’ve even seen ads from bankruptcy petition preparers. Before you schedule your consultation, visit one of these attorneys offering their low fee.  We won’t rush you into making a decision about filing bankruptcy, and we won’t rush you out of our office. We think you’ll be able to tell the difference immediately.

Here is a great article about those bankruptcy firms that promise more than they deliver.

In addition to our fees, you will be responsible for the following fees charged by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and required by the U.S. Bankruptcy Code:

Chapter 7 filing fees: $306.00

Chapter 13 filing fees: $281.00

Credit Counseling Fees: Approximately $5.00

Personal Financial Management Class: Approximately $15.00

Your bankruptcy petition will not be filed until all attorney, court, and credit counseling fees have been paid in full.

To learn more about whether or not Chapter 7 bankruptcy or Chapter 13 bankruptcy is your best option, schedule your free, confidential bankruptcy consultation with a Denver bankruptcy attorney today.
